Connect the dots, color in the lines
You can use any color you like, I don’t mind one bit
Can you make me look more like you?
Perhaps then they will see me

Give me a face, paint it the best you can
Be sure to show some of my burns.
I am scarred, but am I not still beautiful?
Look through my eyes and try to gaze into my soul.

Grab my hand, don’t you see I am reaching.
Hold on tightly, I am scared of being alone.
Guide me to a place where I feel safe.
